We are seeking a jack-of-all trades Task Force General Manager to be based out of our corporate offices in Scottsdale , AZ . The Task Force General Manager is responsible for the operation of an individual property to which they are temporarily assigned. Assignments to individual properties are made by the Corporate Director of Operations to provide coverage to General Managers for off days, vacation days, or other management absences. The Task Force General Manager may also be given short-term assignments across all at a property within the properties in their assigned market portfolio which may include duties such as local sales & marketing, accounts receivable efforts, property staff training, guest satisfaction or quality improvement, and performing quality assurance improvement audits as directed by the Director of Operations. The Task Force General Manager will be required to travel up to 75% of the time to different locations within the portfolio and may be required to stay overnight at these locations.
This Dynamic Leader will be responsible for the following areas:
- Operates properties in the absence of a General Manager as needed.
- Assists in recruitment of General Managers and other property staff.
- Training, development and support of property staff.
- Drive sales through sales calls and other local marketing efforts.
- Ensure and provide excellent guest service.
- Helps meet budgets through effective cost and inventory control.
- Helps properties maximize financial performance.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- Excellent financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and accounting. Must have proven experience in proactively addressing accounts receivable opportunities.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction and manage operational efficiency
- General computer proficiency.
- Possess the knowledge and ability to perform a variety of front office and related positions in response to business conditions.
- Ability to compose and express thoughts in a clear and understandable way to ensure effective communication.
- Ability and flexibility to work long hours on a regular basis and as business conditions demand.
- Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously, often in stressful situations.
- Ability to organize oneself, and one’s work and the efforts of others.
- Minimum of 1 years' experience as a General Manager and/or Task Force General Manager with a Branded hotel, including Hilton, IHG, Marriott and/or Wyndham.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel management. Experience levels required might vary based upon the size and business volume of a particular property.
- Travel 75% of the time to different locations within the market and may be required to stay overnight at these locations.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
