The Role


The Technical Support Manager for BlastOne is responsible for leading the field technicians within Aftermarket Services to provide superior support. Additionally, this role will maximize the efficiency of the team members and processes to achieve the team’s KPIs.


  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by staying in constant communication and efficiently resolving issues with solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Build and continuously improve standard inspection processes and documentation
  • Train technicians for inspection processes and ensure excellent communication to customers for inspection results.
  • Develop and lead a continuous improvement process within BIS to prioritize field installations and reliabilities issues to ensure high frequency, high criticality issues are being resolved through design improvements.
  • Lead the team of field technicians by managing schedules, coordinating technical training and supporting the technicians to resolve field related issues.
  • Support customer service to assist customers with resolving production downtime or equipment related issues.
  • Develop customer training content and help administer training to the customer.
  • Maintain the calendar for customer training events.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications



  • At least 5 years of experience working with industrial support or Service focuses.
  • Previous work experience leading a technical team and direct interaction with customers.
  • BS In Engineering, Business, Marketing or related fields, Or Equivalent Experience
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial solutions
  • Knowledge of Blasting and Painting Operations
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Projects
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work at an office desk for long periods of time
  • Office environment and various industrial production operations based on customer conditions.
  • Monday through Friday
  • Up to 25% Travel
