Responsibilities
- Review and prepare closing documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations throughout the closing process.
- Coordinate with loan officers, escrow agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Manage the loan origination process from approval to closing.
- Utilize math skills for accurate calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and fees.
- Conduct thorough underwriting reviews to assess risk and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Process contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to closings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven experience in mortgage servicing or as a Closer is preferred.
- Familiarity with loan processing, underwriting, and escrow procedures.
- Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and documentation handling.
- Strong understanding of loan origination processes and related regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the closing process.
