Job Description:
Provides support to the Commercial Lending Team with business development efforts by cross-selling bank products and services in the Geographical Markets that we serve. The Treasury Service Officer will proactively develop and maintain Banking Relationships through calling efforts and relationship building. Provides quality customer service to Commercial Clients while proactively assisting them with their financial needs through delivery of banking and treasury management services. Acts as a Financial Advisor dedicated to building long term relationships while tailoring financial solutions to meet client goals and objectives. Contributes to the profitability and growth of Pioneer Bank, by building, developing and managing new and existing client relationships.
Essential Functions:
· Meets with commercial clients to identify business and personal needs and recommend products and solutions. Identifies current and potential future needs of clients / prospects, including treasury management products and services with a goal of increasing client relationships.
· Responsible for the growth of deposits and treasury product sales, in relation to Commercial and Business Banking clients. Expected to meet objectives of increasing overall client relations, deposit growth and revenue sources.
· Actively engages and interacts with branch partners to educate staff on client needs and referrals.
· Work with Commercial Lending Officers and Senior Management to assist with the administration and relationship management of larger commercial relationships.
· Provides personalized service to depositors and borrowers with specific or customized banking needs. Assist customers with financial matters advising them on products and services. Supports the VP, Business Banking by suggesting strategies to obtain the best results based on the customer’s individual needs, desires and resources.
· Possess a strong understanding of all Business and Treasury product offerings, to facilitate client awareness and education of bank services, including digital banking capabilities, business products and treasury management services.
· Develops a partnership with Financial Center Managers and associates to cultivate a positive referral process.
· Analyze businesses’ cash flow, deposit relationships and treasury needs to develop a custom proposal. Will regularly meet with commercial clients for consultation and presentation of proposals.
· Ability to cross-sell products and services, with proven sales and product expertise when dealing with large commercial clients.
· Sales efforts include developing and executing effective sales strategies, implementing a formalized calling plan, generating leads and follow-up on referrals.
· Ability to identify additional opportunities to existing relationships and increase treasury product service adoption based on usage and client discussions.
· Identify treasury management product and service needs, develop and propose solutions to commercial clients that best meet their needs and facilitate on-boarding and implementation.
· Makes client calls with a primary focus on follow-up and customer retention. Focus on expanding the number of products and services utilized by each client.
· Assist in annual reviews of client relationships and treasury management services. Perform on sight reviews and audits as required.
· Assist in the development of new treasury management products & services.
· Inform VP, Business Banking of issues, other related information, and customer communications.
· Represents the bank in the community to develop and promote additional business.
· Ensures 100% compliance with bank policies and procedures.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Associate’s degree in business, Finance or Related Field, bachelor’s degree preferred.
Five or more years of job-related business development and sales experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with the financial industry preferred.
In depth knowledge of retail and commercial products to perform duties with minimal supervision.
Strong relationship management and business development / Sales skills.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to network and build relationships.
Ability to use MS Word, Excel, and related banking software.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
