Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient treatment plans and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with dental and medical office operations is essential.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with dental professionals and ensuring all necessary information is gathered.
- Utilize software systems Dentrix to manage patient records and appointments efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls using phone systems, providing exceptional phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with office protocols.
- Assist patients in understanding their treatment options, insurance coverage, and payment plans.
- Support the administrative functions of the medical office, including filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as needed.
- Foster a welcoming environment for patients by providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and support.
- Knowledge of medical administrative support processes is an asset.
