We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients by coordinating treatment plans and managing administrative tasks within our medical or dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans, answering questions and providing information as needed.
- Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling to maximize office efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including treatment documentation and insurance information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Assist with the management of office operations, including filing, data entry, and other administrative support tasks.
- Educate patients about procedures, treatments, and financial options available to them.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the medical or dental office environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication and documentation.
- Experience in providing medical administrative support, including managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members alike.
