The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, dependable, and confident when engaging with diverse crowds. They should have an outgoing personality, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to mix music seamlessly for a wide variety of audiences.
As a DJ with us, all of the behind-the-scenes work is handled for you—allowing you to focus on what you love most: performing. Weddings Unlimited provides equipment, training, bookings, marketing, advertising, and timeline planning to ensure our staff can work as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Responsibilities
- Curate and mix music playlists tailored to different events and audiences.
- Engage with guests through public speaking to enhance the overall experience.
- Set up and break down sound equipment before and after events.
- Operate sound equipment, including mixers, turntables, and microphones.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and guests.
- Collaborate with event planners to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Promote upcoming events through social media and other marketing channels.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests and inquiries promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience as a DJ or in a similar role is preferred but not required; passion for music is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Public speaking experience is a plus; ability to engage and entertain guests is crucial.
- Knowledge of various music genres and trends to cater to different tastes.
- Experience in bartending or event management can be beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when setting up equipment as needed.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to promote events effectively.
