We are looking for someone who will be enthusiastic and passionate about the opportunity to coordinate the operational side of the business with staff, be available to encourage/discipline/motivate our students to become Welding Professionals, as well as tell prospective students and their families about the school's curriculum on the phone and at events. This person must be excited to help the graduates find employment according to the students' skill set and create reports to demonstrate the success in helping the students become gainfully employed. The successful candidate must be friendly and outgoing with the staff, the students, and the public, and feel comfortable creating future partnerships with welding employers to offer customized training for their employees. The right candidate will monitor the consumables that the school is utilizing, work with various vendors to be cost-effective with the school's consumables, as well as submit necessary reports on the usage of those consumables. The IL Welding School is looking for the right person to grow the school's image and develop strong partnerships. Previous managerial knowledge will be a must. We are an organization that has a heart for "empowering" students, partners, and staff with welding knowledge.

The Necessary Skills for the position are as follows:
- Knowledgeable about the welding processes of SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW on plate and pipe in theory/skill
- Supervisory experience
- Comfortable in a shop environment because of previous experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate information to various audiences
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, as well as follow-through skills
- Self-motivated and committed professional with a positive attitude
- Computer skills to create reports with Google Docs
- Attention to detail
- Clear thinker with a structured approach to identifying and solving problems
- Multi-tasking skills that can adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform the duties and responsibilities of the job
This position is salaried at $60,000, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
