Metcash

Metcash is the power behind Australia’s most successful independent retail brands, including IGA, Foodland, Mitre 10, Home Timber & Hardware, Cellarbrations, and the Bottle-O. We believe that it is absolutely vital to Australia that there is a sustainable, independent, family-owned business sector. Independent retailers support their local communities. We help them to be the ‘Best Store in Their Town’ by providing merchandising, operational, and marketing support across our food, liquor, and hardware pillars. As Australia's leading wholesale distribution and marketing company, Metcash offers a diversified business across food, grocery, hardware, and liquor sectors. We have a long-standing commitment to backing the independent sector and championing the interests of local retailers. Aiming to strengthen these businesses, Metcash plays a pivotal role in community support while also operating with integrity and nurturing a culture that values both employees and the independent stores we serve. Headquartered in Macquarie Park, NSW, the company utilizes its vast network of distribution facilities and expertise to reach thousands of retailers nationwide.
