Working across 8 countries, 28 international ports and multiple regional hubs, our team coordinates the movement of more than 8,000 containers annually, helping keep product flowing seamlessly from origin to market.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Customer Shipping and Logistics Manager on a 12 month contract. Reporting into our GM of Distribution, you will drive the strategy that oversees the movement of all products from origin consolidation points, ports and international shipping routes to relevant markets. An integral aspect of your role will be using your strong relationship-building skills to proactively support customers by partnering with internal production, planning, buying and merchandise teams, as well as external freight carriers. You’ll also be responsible for reviewing, enhancing, and delivering timely, impactful communications to all internal stakeholders regarding relevant shipping updates.

This strategic role is key to ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation, optimising delivery timelines while maintaining schedule reliability. Using data and insights to identify opportunities, you'll drive continuous improvement initiatives, influence key business decisions and shape logistics strategies that support our commercial objectives and future growth. You'll also play a critical role in overseeing trade compliance and duty management, ensuring product moves efficiently, compliantly and cost-effectively through our global supply chain. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • People first leader, ability to grow and develop a high performing team.
  • Budget accountability, continuous improvement mindset, finding ways to drive performance leading to an improved CODB.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering cross-functionally and proven ability to influence and prioritise outcomes that align with customer goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills at all stakeholder levels (internal and external) to enable clear, concise, and timely updates to keep the customer engaged and informed.
  • Experience in partnering with external freight partners to manage vendor relationships successfully.
  • Considerable experience and a proven track record in a logistics, supply chain, or freight management role, ideally within a retail or consumer goods environment.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs regulations.
  • Ability to analyse logistics data and implement strategic solutions.
  • Technically proficient, ability to develop and utilise best in class digital capability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global supply chain environment.
