Full Stack Data Analyst
Job description
Regent Motors Group is strengthening its Data & Digital capability, and we’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Data Analyst to help improve how information is connected, understood and used across the group.
Reporting to the Group Projects Manager, you’ll work across the full analytics lifecycle, from understanding business requirements and preparing data to building Power BI reports and delivering actionable insights.
Your work will support decisions across vehicle sales, inventory, service, customer engagement and financial performance.
The opportunity
- Define the business questions, measures and reporting that matter.
- Develop reliable data models and transformations within Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for executives, Dealer Principals and department managers.
- Use SQL, Power Query and DAX to turn complex data into clear, consistent reporting.
- Validate and reconcile data, investigate discrepancies and improve confidence in the numbers.
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs and strengthen customer retention.
- Help develop reporting standards, documentation and governance as the platform grows.
About you
You combine strong technical skills with commercial curiosity. You want to understand how a business operates, challenge what the data is saying and produce work that helps people take action.
You’ll bring:
- Strong practical experience in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with multiple data sources.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, or comparable Microsoft data platforms with the ability to transition into Fabric.
- An understanding of data transformation, dimensional modelling and data quality controls.
- The ability to translate business requirements into useful analytics and explain findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ownership of your work, attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
Experience with Python, APIs, automotive systems or AI-enabled analytics would be valuable. Automotive experience is welcome but not essential.
