Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 per year + super

We’re looking for an experienced IT Helpdesk Officer to join our growing team in Albury, and provide essential technical support to our people across the business. If you enjoy solving problems, helping others and getting technology back on track, this could be the opportunity for you.
About the role
As the first point of contact for IT support, you’ll play an important role in keeping our people connected, productive and able to do their jobs effectively. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, support the setup of equipment and applications, and work closely with the wider IT team to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
This is a varied, hands-on role where your technical knowledge, customer service skills and ability to think on your feet will make a real difference every day.
What you'll be doing
- Providing Level 1 IT helpdesk support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and operating system issues.
- Managing support tickets and escalating more complex issues to IT Engineers when required.
- Setting up computers, software, telephones and tablets for employees.
- Troubleshooting business applications and supporting staff with technology-related queries.
- Assisting with the maintenance of company mobile and IP telephone services, databases and network documentation.
- Liaising with external IT service providers and other organisations to resolve issues.
- Supporting IT equipment maintenance, asset management and associated record keeping.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures and documentation.
- Participating in a rotating after-hours support arrangement.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- A minimum of three years' experience in the IT industry.
- Proven experience troubleshooting hardware, software and operating system issues.
- The ability to quickly learn new technologies, systems and applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Initiative, sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
