The Opportunity
At Icon Water, we deliver essential water services every day, creating a sustainable water legacy for our community. As Manager Digital Strategy & Portfolio, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the organisation's digital future by driving strategic planning, portfolio governance, investment prioritisation and performance management across our Digital Program. Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, you will ensure digital investments align with business priorities and deliver measurable value to the organisation and community.
Leading a team of digital portfolio professionals, you will provide oversight of digital strategy governance and execution, investment planning, benefits realisation, and executive reporting. This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide decision-making, initiate and support major transformation initiatives, and contribute to the long-term sustainability of a critical essential services organisation.
What You'll Bring
You are a strategic and collaborative leader with the ability to navigate complex environments, influence diverse stakeholders and create alignment across competing priorities. You bring a strong foundation in digital portfolio, program or investment management, paired with a passion for developing high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
Success in this role will be supported by:
- Demonstrated experience leading digital portfolio, PMO, program management or strategy functions.
- Strong knowledge of digital portfolio governance, investment planning and initiation, prioritisation frameworks, and benefits realisation.
- Experience providing strategic advice, executive reporting and performance insights to senior leadership.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams while fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across business and technical teams.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, financial performance and investment outcomes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Project Management, Business or a related discipline.
- Project or portfolio management certifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, MoP or equivalent highly regarded.
