About the role
As Manager Mobile Mechanical Services, you will lead the safe, productive and profitable delivery of RACQ Auto's mobile mechanical operations across Queensland. You'll be responsible for driving performance, developing team capability and enhancing our mobile service offering to create greater value for members and support future business growth.
- Help shape RACQ’s mobile Tyre and Service offering.
- Lead and develop RACQ's Mobile Mechanical Services team.
- Drive operational excellence, safety and customer satisfaction.
- Support innovation and growth of mobile mechanical products and services.
- Manage performance, profitability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Mobile Mechanical Services, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Coach, mentor and develop leaders and frontline team members to achieve strong performance outcomes.
- Drive exceptional customer and member experiences across all service channels.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Member & Growth teams to develop and enhance future products and services.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, service quality and profitability.
- Lead workforce planning, resource allocation and capability development to support service demand.
- Oversee operational compliance, risk management and workplace health and safety obligations.
- Manage budgets, financial performance and growth opportunities to achieve commercial outcomes.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring\:
- Trade qualifications within the automotive industry ideal and extensive experience in mechanical operations and valid drivers licence.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing service delivery, operational performance and customer outcomes.
- Strong coaching and people leadership skills with the ability to build high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive safety, compliance, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen and customer service skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
