SAP Integration Architect

Role

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems. The architect will drive integration strategy for digital transformation programs involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite, cloud applications, and legacy enterprise platforms. The successful candidate will provide architectural leadership, define integration patterns and standards, and ensure scalable, secure, and resilient solutions aligned to business objectives.

Key

Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Architecture

· Define enterprise integration architecture, standards, governance, and best practices.

· Develop target-state integration roadmaps supporting SAP transformation initiatives.

· Lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

· Establish reusable integration patterns across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise landscapes.

SAP Integration Solution Design

· Architect end-to-end integration solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP MDG, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Azure and AWS services

· Design solutions leveraging SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, SAP BTP Services, OData Services, REST/SOAP APIs, IDocs, RFC/BAPI, EDI integrations

Delivery Leadership

· Lead discovery workshops and architecture discussions with business and technology stakeholders.

· Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration solutions.

· Guide development teams during build, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.

· Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.

Cloud & Digital Transformation

· Drive SAP BTP adoption and enable cloud-first integration strategies.

· Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation programmes.

· Define API-led and event-driven integration architectures.

· Enable side-by-side extensibility using SAP BTP services.

Security & Governance

· Define security frameworks and standards.

· Implement authentication and authorization strategies using OAuth2, SSO, IAM, and SAP Cloud Identity Services.

· Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Operations & Performance

· Define monitoring, logging, and operational support models.

· Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise integration throughput.

· Establish supportability and operational excellence standards.

SAP Expertise: SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Integration Suite / CPI, SAP PI/PO, SAP NetWeaver

Integration Technologies: API Management, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, OData, XML/JSON, Event-driven architecture, Enterprise Integration Patterns

Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Architecture & Governance: TOGAF principles, Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Integration , Governance, DevOps and CI/CD Practices

Qualifications
