Are you an experienced testing professional who enjoys solving problems, partnering with stakeholders and helping deliver digital solutions that work beautifully for users? Curtin is looking for a skilled Senior Test Analyst to bring strong technical expertise, curiosity and a quality-first mindset to a varied portfolio of digital projects.
Working across Digital Platforms, you will plan testing across APIs and integrations, while also developing and executing automated tests using Katalon Studio. You will work closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions are thoroughly tested and ready for use.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, coordinate and execute testing and acceptance activities across Digital Platforms.
- Develop test approaches, test plans, test scenarios and test cases based on requirements, solution design and project risks.
- Perform functional, integration, API, regression and end-to-end testing across digital platforms and connected systems.
- Develop, maintain and execute automated tests using Katalon Studio, with a focus on improving regression coverage and testing efficiency.
- Manage defects through reporting, triage, retesting and closure.
- Ensure test cases, test data, test evidence and automation scripts meet agreed quality and technical standards.
- Work closely with developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Provide testing guidance and support to other team members and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.
- Relevant degree with substantial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- Strong hands-on experience in manual and end-to-end testing, including functional, integration, API and regression testing.
- Experience developing test approaches, test plans, test scenarios and test cases and managing defects through the full lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience developing, maintaining and executing automated tests using Katalon Studio or similar automation tools.
- Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms, with an understanding of testing applications, APIs and integrations within cloud-based environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work confidently with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to provide testing guidance and support to other team members; ISTQB certification and higher education experience are desirable.
