Individualized Support Worker

SCE LifeWorks supports individuals who have intellectual disabilities to work and participate in the community.

This position is Monday through Thursday, days. A vehicle is required.

Job details:

• SCE LifeWorks is seeking an Individualized Support Worker to provide support to a gentleman with an intellectual disability. The successful candidate will work Monday and Wednesday each week from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. This staff person works 7 hours per day and is paid for 8 hours, bringing the total hours to 32 hours per week.
• The Individualized Support Worker assists people to meet goals identified in the person's plan. This may include supporting people to be successful at work or volunteering, with recreational activities, and/or providing support for health and wellness.
• A vehicle is required for this person, as well as a minimum class 5i driver license.
• Experience supporting people who have intellectual disabilities is an asset.
