We're looking for our next Key Account Manager. Could It Be You?

Flexiti sits at the intersection of fintech, retail, and consumer lending — a $1.6B+ platform serving hundreds of thousands of Canadian consumers through major merchant partnerships. We've spent the last year investing in the foundations: Braze for lifecycle orchestration, Databricks for analytics and segmentation, and a consumer mobile app that's now live. Now we're accelerating, expanding into new verticals, scaling high-velocity partnerships, and building the team and operating model to match our ambitions.

As a Key Account Manager, you will drive the growth and overall success of some of Flexiti's high-value national key merchants. As a core member of our Account Management team, you will take a holistic, big-picture approach: you will oversee the high-level operational success of your accounts, but your primary focus will be commercial.

You are sales-focused, and you understand that the best partnerships are mutually beneficial. You will work to find the sweet spot between optimizing cost-efficiency for the merchant and maximizing profitability for Flexiti. You are comfortable presenting data to C-suite executives, with the analytical ability to look past raw numbers and read between the lines to find actionable trends. You are highly proficient in Excel and comfortable leveraging modern AI tools to gather data, but your real strength lies in interpreting what that data means for the client's business.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Enterprise relationship management: Serving as the primary strategic and commercial contact for national corporate brands, managing account health to flag risk early, and building strong, trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.

Internal merchant advocacy: Representing the merchant's needs back into product to shape the offering, and representing Flexiti to ensure the merchant's priorities align with ours.

Commercial growth and profitability: Identifying and executing growth opportunities within your portfolio to increase financing volume and drive revenue, balancing merchant cost-efficiency with Flexiti's revenue goals.

Executive data presentations: Interpreting complex merchant performance data and transforming it into clear narratives for regular business reviews with enterprise leadership.

Data synthesis and interpretation: Moving beyond standard data reporting, using Excel and AI data assistants to pull and analyze account metrics, and reading between the lines to uncover health indicators and portfolio trends.

Operational oversight and alignment: Acting as the strategic bridge between your merchants and Flexiti's internal teams, including Marketing, Analytics, Risk, and Customer Support. You will not be stuck in day-to-day administrative tasks, but you will ensure the overarching operational framework supports account growth and efficiency.

So are YOU our next Key Account Manager? You are if you…

Have 10+ years of proven experience in key account management, relationship sales, or customer success managing enterprise-level clients, ideally within fintech, retail, or SaaS

Are bilingual, with fluency in French and English

Have a holistic mindset and can balance commercial drive with a consultative approach to ensure both client satisfaction and corporate profitability

Have executive presence, with strong communication and presentation skills and the confidence to deliver insights and lead discussions in front of corporate executives

Are highly proficient in Excel, understand how to manipulate data, and are adept at using modern tools such as AI to surface the information you need to make strategic recommendations

Have strong problem-solving skills and can navigate complex corporate structures, balance operational realities with strategic goals, and proactively drive accounts forward

Additional kudos if you…

Have industry knowledge in retail, consumer finance, integrated software, or e-commerce

Have knowledge of Salesforce and Power BI
