Rayner Construction Services (RCS) is an award-winning general contractor and construction manager with offices in Calgary (Head Office) and Burnaby. Our Vancouver division has a wide variety of current and upcoming projects. These include government facility renovations, office interiors, tenant improvements, restaurant builds and fit-outs, and school board projects.
What you'll do
- Support the project team with coordination and day-to-day project administration
- Handle safety paperwork, shop drawings, RFIs, purchase orders, change notices and closeout documents
- Organize, attend and take minutes at project meetings with the Project Manager
- Solve problems and keep projects moving
- Review construction documents and keep everyone informed
- Keep files, logs and records accurate and up to date

- Procore experience, which is a big asset

Good to know
- Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 4:30, with a 1-hour lunch. Some weekend work may be needed.
- About 10% travel
- The successful candidate will need a clear criminal record check, which can be done after an offer.
Requirements
- 2+ years as a Project Administrator or Project Coordinator in commercial construction
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience reading contracts, specifications, RFIs and change orders
- The ability to work closely with superintendents, office staff and field staff
- Strong organization and time management, and you work well under pressure
- A valid driver's licence
