As a Sales Support Specialist, you will provide daily support to our Sales representatives and managers, as well as to our external customers, by managing a high volume of emails.

You will also collaborate with the Marketing and Customer Service teams, particularly when order-related issues arise.

This role contributes to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB Canada and is based in Milton Ontario

The work model is hybrid, with 2 days per week at the office.

This is a contractual role ( 6 month term ) possibility of extension

Responsibilities

  • Suggest products and competitor equivalents to external sales, distributors, and contractors/users.
  • Provide Level 1 technical support.
  • Prepare quotations and assist with pricing according to established pricing guidelines.
  • Share customer and market information with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Work with Customer Service to resolve order issues.
  • Support and assist colleagues within the team.
  • Perform other required tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with low- and medium-voltage electrification products is an asset.
  • Experience in a B2B company is an asset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills - English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong sales and customer orientation.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and methodologies while suggesting improvements.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $73,300 and $83,000 annually.
