Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d)

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience as a backend or backend-focused full stack developer
• Hands-on experience working with LLM agents in real projects, ideally in production
• Solid understanding of agent concepts such as tool calling, multi-step workflows, and the practical limits of LLMs
• Strong skills in at least one modern backend language
• Solid experience with relational databases and data modeling
• Experience designing and building clean, well-documented APIs
• Good understanding of testing strategies, version control, and CI/CD workflows
• Working knowledge of web frontend development
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style
• Fluent in English

• Please briefly describe a project where you worked with LLM agents and what challenges you solved.
• Nice to have, but not required: experience with Elixir or a strong interest in learning it; experience with distributed or concurrent systems; experience evaluating and monitoring LLM-based features; container-based development and deployment workflows; interest in product development beyond ticket-based work; automotive industry affinity.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models that power our products
• Integrate LLM-based agents into our products and workflows, including orchestration, tool use, and structured outputs
• Make agent-driven features reliable in production, with attention to error handling, latency, cost, and monitoring
• Use AI agents effectively in day-to-day development to speed up and improve engineering work
• Contribute to frontend work where needed to deliver complete features
• Drive architecture and technology decisions, especially around backend design and AI features
• Mentor colleagues and help establish good engineering practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Work closely with product, frontend, and DevOps to ship features that solve real problems
