Product Data Analyst
Jobbeskrivelse
Tech-first. Ego-free. User-obsessed.
Over one million Danes use Skatteguiden to understand and optimise their taxes. We automate tax tracking, surface deductions people didn't know they had, and give users the insights they need to make better financial decisions — all directly connected to the Danish tax authority.
We're an independent company of around 50 people based in Copenhagen, with a 4.7-star rating and a simple mission: make financial insight accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford an accountant.
The role
We're looking for a Product Data Analyst who wants to help our product teams make better decisions with data. You'll dig into how users actually behave in the app, help design and evaluate experiments, and turn your findings into clear recommendations that shape what gets built next.
You'll work day-to-day with product managers across our product teams, as part of a data team with high standards and a modern stack. It's a hands-on role with plenty of room to grow, both in technical depth and in influence on the product.
What you'll be working on
- Analyse user behaviour, funnels and retention to find growth opportunities and friction points.
- Help product teams set up, run and evaluate experiments — from hypothesis to conclusion.
- Track and maintain core product metrics and KPIs, and make sure teams can trust them.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting in close collaboration with the data team.
- Answer product questions with clear, well-structured analyses and concrete recommendations.
- Contribute to the data models and definitions that product analytics is built on.
What you bring
- 2–3+ years of experience as a product analyst, data analyst or similar role, ideally in a digital product company.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with data models.
- Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
- Experience working closely with product managers or product teams.
- A solid grasp of experimentation and statistics — you know what makes a test result trustworthy.
- Ability to explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- A structured approach — you can take a loosely defined question and turn it into a sharp analysis.
Nice to have
- Experience with Lightdash, Evidence or comparable BI tooling.
- Python for data processing and analysis.
- Experience from a product setup with cross-functional squads.
What we offer
- Real impact on a product used by more than a million Danes.
- Close collaboration with product teams and a direct line from your analyses to product decisions.
- A strong data team with high professional standards and a modern tech stack.
- Room to grow your skills and your scope as the product analytics function develops.
- Office first in Copenhagen — five minutes from Rådhuspladsen, lunch at Claus Meyer, dinner covered if the day runs long.
