GCP Architect (Contract, UK Remote)

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience as a Cloud or GCP Architect
• Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure and application design
• Experience designing scalable, resilient and secure cloud solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security and IAM
• Experience with GCP services and cloud-native architectures
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced delivery environment
• Central Government experience is desirable
• Experience working on large-scale or complex transformation programmes is desirable
• Experience in highly regulated environments is desirable
• Immediate or short-notice availability is advantageous

• Provide technical architecture expertise across a GCP environment
• Work closely with technical and delivery teams to design robust, scalable and secure cloud solutions
• Make architectural decisions and help shape the technical direction of the project

We are offering an initial five-week contract for a hands-on GCP Architect on an exciting project. The role is fully remote and UK-based, with a rate of up to £675 per day and Inside IR35 status.
