Requirements

• Previous experience in a hands-on IT support, IT Technician, Desktop Support, or 1st/2nd Line Support position
• Comfortable handling a broad range of day-to-day technical queries
• Experience setting up IT equipment and system access for new starters
• Epicor experience is highly advantageous
• Available to start at relatively short notice and commit to an assignment expected to last 1 to 3 months

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support to users through our internal helpdesk
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and business systems issues
• Set up new starters, including PCs or laptops, email, user accounts, and system access
• Install and configure hardware and software
• Support users with our ERP system and complete routine ERP-related tasks
• Assist with maintaining network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot connectivity and general IT infrastructure issues
• Provide technical support to external entities where required
• Manage queries through to resolution and escalate them where appropriate

We are recruiting an IT Technician / IT Support professional to join an established business as part of its internal IT function. This is a hands-on, on-site temporary role supporting users across the business with hardware, software, systems, and infrastructure queries. The initial assignment is expected to last 1 to 3 months, with compensation of £30,000–£35,000 per annum equivalent.
