Network Support Technician

The Role
As a Network Support Technician, you will provide first-line IT support across the school environment, helping to ensure that technology is working effectively and supporting both teaching and administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line technical support to staff and students
- Supporting the maintenance and effective use of IT hardware, software and related equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day IT issues
- Supporting users with software, hardware and network-related queries
- Helping to maintain reliable IT systems across the school
- Working with a wide range of staff and students
- Contributing to a positive and responsive IT service
- Supporting the wider IT team with the day-to-day running of the school's technology infrastructure
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about IT and enjoys providing a friendly, helpful and professional service to others.
Ideally, you will have:
- A Level 2 Diploma in IT or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in an IT environment
- Experience working with relevant software, hardware and networks
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to communicate confidently with staff and students at all levels
- A proactive and flexible approach to your work
- A genuine interest in using technology to support learning and improve outcomes
