This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys working with people as much as technology and wants to play an important role in supporting staff and students through effective and reliable IT services.The RoleAs a Network Support Technician, you will provide first-line IT support across the school environment, helping to ensure that technology is working effectively and supporting both teaching and administration.Your responsibilities will include:Providing first-line technical support to staff and studentsSupporting the maintenance and effective use of IT hardware, software and related equipmentDiagnosing and resolving day-to-day IT issuesSupporting users with software, hardware and network-related queriesHelping to maintain reliable IT systems across the schoolWorking with a wide range of staff and studentsContributing to a positive and responsive IT serviceSupporting the wider IT team with the day-to-day running of the school's technology infrastructureThe role is primarily based in Tunbridge Wells, although you may occasionally be required to work across other connected campuses.About YouWe are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about IT and enjoys providing a friendly, helpful and professional service to others.Ideally, you will have:A Level 2 Diploma in IT or equivalent qualificationPrevious experience working in an IT environmentExperience working with relevant software, hardware and networksStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to communicate confidently with staff and students at all levelsA proactive and flexible approach to your workA genuine interest in using technology to support learning and improve outcomesYou don't need to be someone who sits behind a screen all day — this role involves working with people across the school and being a friendly, approachable point of contact when they need technical support.Why Work with Teach South KentAt Teach South Kent, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly, supportive and personal service.
