Job description

Partnerships & PR Manager – LegalTechTalk now part of Hyve!

A bit about Hyve

We’re Hyve - organiser of the world’s fastest-growing and most forward-thinking B2B events. As the chosen event partner to many of the world’s leading companies, our platforms play a critical role in their strategies - helping them enter new markets, accelerate growth and connect with the people who matter most.

Our portfolio features some of the world’s leading events in sectors like ecommerce, healthcare, edtech, and fintech. We’re growing fast with an entrepreneurial culture that empowers big ideas and quick action, plus an ambitious acquisition strategy bringing exciting new events into our mix.

Alongside our market-leading events, we’re building tech and data-driven products that supercharge connections – from one-to-one meeting programs and curated table talks to year-round engagement platforms.

Whatever your role, you’ll join a global team redefining how industries connect, collaborate, and grow – working with some of the most talented people in the business.

Think that sounds good? Wait until our talent acquisition team tells you about the culture.

A bit about LegalTechTalk

LegalTechTalk started with a simple mission: to bring the legal community together to connect, share ideas and shape the future of law.

In under three years, we’ve grown into an award-winning event and community, welcoming 5,500+ attendees, 400+ speakers and 200 sponsors at our latest event. Now, we’re building towards an even bigger 2027, with 7,000+ attendees expected from across the legal ecosystem.

At the heart of it all are the people – those driving change, asking big questions and bringing fresh perspectives to an industry full of opportunity

A bit about you

First things first: whatever your background, beliefs or ambitions, there’s a culture of belonging at Hyve — and everyone is welcome. The question isn’t where you’ve come from, but where you want to go.

You’ll thrive here if you’re curious, collaborative and not afraid to challenge convention. We look for people who take pride in what they do, who are excited by change and always moving forward. The kind of people who stay open, keep learning, and look for better ways to make an impact.

Our shared behaviours guide how we work: we dare to do things differently, own our work, embrace collaboration, stay true to ourselves and others, and remember that optimism wins.

If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in.

A bit about the role

As Partnerships & PR Manager, you will develop and deliver partnership marketing and PR activity that drives audience growth, event registrations and brand visibility for LegalTechTalk Europe.

Working with media partners, industry associations and community organisations, you will build new relationships whilst strengthening our existing partner network. You’ll turn those relationships into joint campaigns, content collaborations and side events that connect relevant communities and enhance the event experience. Alongside this, you will develop our media relationships and identify opportunities to raise LegalTechTalk’s profile through press coverage, interviews and industry commentary.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded marketer who enjoys building relationships, writes confidently and can turn ideas into measurable results.

As part of your job, you’ll:

Partnership Strategy & Development

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive event registrations, audience growth and brand visibility for LegalTechTalk Europe.
  • Identify, secure and manage partnerships with media, industry associations, professional networks and community organisations across the legal and LegalTech ecosystem.
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals that align partner objectives with LegalTechTalk’s marketing and community goals.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, establishing clear commitments, timelines and measures of success.
Partner Management & Campaign Delivery
  • Manage and strengthen our existing contra partner network, maintaining regular communication and identifying opportunities to develop each relationship.
  • Create and deliver joint marketing campaigns across email, social media (company as well as own), and digital channels.
  • Provide partners with promotional copy, assets and registration links, ensuring activity is relevant to their audiences and aligned with wider event campaigns.
  • Manage partner ticket allocations and discount codes, ensuring eligibility and approvals.
  • Track and fulfil partnership commitments, ensuring deliverables on both sides are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner agreements, contacts, campaign activity and results.
Community Engagement & Side Events
  • Lead the development and management of LegalTechTalk’s side-event programme, securing and growing partner relationships to deliver workshops, roundtables, receptions and other events that drive community engagement and delegate acquisition.
  • Own the overall programme, coordinating event formats, partner commitments, scheduling and space allocation.
  • Act as the main partner contact from initial proposal through to delivery, agreeing responsibilities, timelines and promotional activity.
  • Work closely with Operations on venue requirements and logistics, retaining overall ownership of the programme and partner relationships.
  • Coordinate with the wider Marketing team to support promotion, leading on partnership registration and conversion into main-event attendance.
  • Oversee the programme onsite, support partners and lead post-event evaluation and renewal conversations.
PR & Media Relations
  • Develop relationships with journalists, editors, podcasters and industry publications to increase LegalTechTalk’s visibility.
  • Identify newsworthy stories and opportunities for press coverage, interviews and industry commentary, writing press releases and producing materials to support this.
  • Coordinate interviews and commentary with internal colleagues, speakers and partners.
  • Manage media partnerships and work with the Marketing and Operations teams to support press accreditation, attendance and the onsite media experience.
Collaboration & Alignment
  • Collaborate with the Content team to identify research developments across the legal industry and LegalTech market to identify relevant partners, communities and PR opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on partner-driven registrations, campaign engagement, media coverage and partnership performance.
  • Assess the value and effectiveness of individual partnerships, identifying opportunities to improve activity and prioritise relationships.
  • Use campaign results and partner feedback to refine future proposals, communications and collaborations.

Here’s what we’re looking for from you:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in partnership marketing, community development or PR, with experience turning external relationships into campaigns that deliver audience growth, engagement and brand visibility.

We’re seeking a commercially minded marketer who can identify opportunities, develop persuasive proposals and manage relationships from the first conversation through to delivery and renewal. They will be a confident writer and communicator, comfortable adapting their approach for industry associations, community leaders, journalists and senior decision-makers.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential, alongside the ability to manage multiple partners, campaigns and deadlines. Just as importantly, they will be a proactive, personable and collaborative team player who builds trusted relationships and contributes positively to the wider team culture.

This role will be based at our Legal Tech Talk offices in Victoria!
