What You'll Do
- Manage all communication channels for the Global Privacy Team, including intake, triage, prioritization, and handling of blocking issues in requests.
- Own and complete the privacy assessment lifecycle, including PIAs, DPIAs, LIAs, TIAs, and ad hoc privacy reviews.
- Support Data Subject Right Request (DSRR) operations, ensuring timely and compliant responses.
- Lead third-party privacy risk management operations, including vendor reviews, DPA coordination, and remediation tracking.
- Define requirements, controls, and implementation expectations to support and operationalize enterprise privacy policies.
- Develop and maintain privacy standards, procedures, and operational playbooks for consistency across the organization.
- Collaborate with business collaborators to implement and manage privacy operational requirements across products, initiatives, and workflows.
- Drive the execution of the Enterprise Data Privacy Program, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Monitor privacy compliance through metrics and reporting, tracking assessment volumes, SLAs, risks, and trends.
- Maintain the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA) to guarantee completeness, accuracy, and readiness for audits.
- Facilitate cross-functional privacy governance forums, including Privacy Operational Council and Privacy Champions network.
- Provide clear, actionable privacy guidance to business teams regarding data use, collection, sharing, and retention practices.
- Continuously improve privacy operations workflows and intake processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Independently manage projects, timelines, and deliverables, providing clear updates to collaborators and leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in privacy operations, compliance, governance, or consulting roles.
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations, including GDPR, CPRA, HIPAA, COPPA, and related frameworks.
- Proven experience managing privacy assessments (PIAs/DPIAs), vendor risk reviews, and operational privacy workflows.
- Experience supporting or implementing privacy policies, standards, and procedures in a business environment.
- Familiarity with privacy management platforms (e.g., TrustArc, OneTrust) and workflow tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise various tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate privacy requirements into clear, business-friendly mentorship.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward in a fast-paced environment.
- Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise privacy programs or governance frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with ROPA management, DSAR procedures, and audit readiness tasks is beneficial.
- Strong ability to balance regulatory requirements with business needs.
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, security, product, and business collaborators.
- Comfortable leading meetings, facilitating governance forums, and driving accountability across teams.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
- Passion for privacy operations, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
