The Opportunity

Prime Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Systems & Resource Manager to support the delivery and continuous improvement of Sports Services in Lisburn.

This is a varied role combining systems management, business support, procurement, income generation, data management and service improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with Area Managers, Council departments, external providers and other stakeholders to help ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

The role will also play a key part in maximising the use of leisure management systems and supporting the development of the Vitality Household Programme and associated membership services.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Area Managers in reviewing and improving Sports Services, including exploring alternative methods of service delivery.
• Coordinate procurement requirements across Sports Services, including specifications and tender documentation where required.
• Monitor relevant contracts and ensure compliance with Council procurement procedures.
• Provide integrated business support across the Sports Services Unit, including supporting income generation through Vitality Membership.
• Manage and maintain the Leisure Management software, ensuring it is used effectively and in line with Council procedures.
• Support the development of the Vitality Household Programme and the effective implementation of Legend Leisure Management software.
• Work with Council departments and external providers to maximise the potential of ICT, financial monitoring, income generation and customer service.
• Review policies, procedures and working practices to ensure consistency and effective implementation across Sports Services.
• Lead reviews of working practices against the requirements of external quality validation schemes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, including potential staff sharing and new ways of working.
• Develop and implement business improvement action plans across the Unit.
• Ensure GDPR requirements and robust information management procedures are maintained across facilities and services.
• Promote high standards of customer care and ensure compliance with Council policies and procedures.
• Develop effective relationships with partners and stakeholders to support service improvement, innovation and community outcomes.

• Reviewing procedures and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
• Working with internal teams, external providers and stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate information and supporting GDPR compliance.
• Contributing to service improvement and delivering practical business improvement plans.
• Providing a high standard of customer service and professional communication.
