Webcast Manager - Temporary Contract

Are you an experienced Webcast Manager who combines technical production expertise with excellent client service?

We’re recruiting a Webcast Manager on a temporary contract for an established webcast and virtual events technology company. You’ll be the central point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing webcast and streaming projects from initial planning through to live delivery and follow-up.

This role suits someone who enjoys taking ownership, building client relationships and coordinating the technical detail that makes live events run smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing end-to-end webcast production for high-profile client events, including technical planning, coordination, live delivery and post-event follow-up.
• Providing on-site production and encoding support at client events as required.
• Coordinating internal technical teams, external AV companies and specialist vendors.
• Creating and maintaining account-specific playbooks and workflows to standardise delivery and improve efficiency.
• Advising clients on streaming strategy, platform capabilities and production best practice.
• Identifying opportunities for clients to make greater use of relevant webcast and virtual event services.

What you’ll bring

• Experience managing webcast or streaming projects in a client-facing role.
• Strong technical knowledge of encoding, streaming platforms and AV production workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical requirements clearly.
• Experience coordinating external AV companies and technical vendors on complex events.
• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to stay calm during live production.
• Willingness to travel to client events when on-site support is required.

A relevant qualification or certification in broadcast production, AV engineering or streaming technology would be an advantage, alongside familiarity with conference call platforms and virtual event delivery standards.
