Senior Executive – Business Development Department

The

German-Indonesian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (EKONID) is seeking a

dynamic and highly motivated Senior Executive – Business Development to

join our team in Jakarta.

This

role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of international

business, market development, trade promotion, and strategic partnerships while

supporting German and Indonesian companies in exploring and expanding business

opportunities.

Working

closely with the Head of Business Development and internal stakeholders, you

will play a key role in delivering business development services, managing

client projects, conducting market research, facilitating business matchmaking

and delegation programs, and implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen

German-Indonesian economic cooperation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver business
• development services and client projects for German and Indonesian companies.
• Conduct market research,
• business intelligence, and industry analysis to support client needs and
• strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate business
• matchmaking activities, delegation programs, and market entry projects.
• Build and maintain
• relationships with clients, business partners, industry associations, and
• government stakeholders.
• Support the implementation
• of strategic and sustainability-focused projects, including international
• cooperation initiatives.
• Organize and support
• business events, seminars, workshops, conferences, and networking activities.
• Represent EKONID in
• meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements as assigned.
• Contribute to strengthening
• German-Indonesian economic cooperation through high-quality project delivery
• and stakeholder management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in
• Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, Marketing,
• Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant
• professional experience in business development, consulting, market research,
• project management, international trade, or related fields.
• Experience working with
• international clients, chambers of commerce, trade promotion organizations,
• consulting firms, or business associations is an advantage.
• Experience in project
• implementation and stakeholder management is highly desirable.
