We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director ETF Fund Accounting to join our ETF Fund Accounting team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead the Ireland ETF Accounting Operations teams for BNY strategically significant client Provide strategic and day‑to‑day leadership to high‑performing teams responsible for NAV production, pricing, controls, and client deliverables across their Ireland and Luxembourg ETF Products.
  • Act as Ireland ETF Accounting Operations owner for single client Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, influence decision‑making, and ensure delivery of a consistently excellent service experience.
  • Serve as member of the BNY Dublin ETF Accounting Leadership Team Maintain strong partnerships with senior leaders across the Dublin Site, championing a culture of operational excellence, and effectively influencing visiting global executives.
  • Drive operational excellence across the ETF Accounting lifecycle Oversee daily NAV production and valuation controls.
  • Partner with global internal functions Collaborate with Global Product, Technology, Risk, Middle Office and Functional Utility stakeholders to ensure alignment, resolve cross‑functional issues, and drive consistency in process and controls.
  • Lead onboarding, conversions, and product launch activity Oversee operational readiness for new funds, complex product structures, and client‑driven change initiatives.
  • Strengthen the control environment and risk culture Ensure robust oversight of key controls, manage audit interactions, and drive remediation of operational risk themes.
  • Champion automation and digital transformation Promote adoption of digital tools, data‑driven solutions and AI‑enabled capabilities to reduce manual touchpoints and enhance operational resilience.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for complex issues Provide direction on break resolution, valuation challenges, and client‑impacting incidents, ensuring timely and transparent communication.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Extensive Fund Accounting expertise Deep understanding of ETF’s, NAV production, valuation methodologies, complex instruments, and accounting standards across Ireland and Luxembourg.
  • Proven leadership of large, high‑performing operational team Ability to motivate, develop, and retain talent while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional client‑facing capability Demonstrated success influencing senior client stakeholders, managing complex discussions, and navigating competing priorities.
  • Strong cross‑functional influence within global organisations Comfortable operating in a matrix environment and partnering with global teams to drive alignment and resolve issues.

  • Self‑starter with strong ownership mentality Able to operate independently while knowing when to escalate or collaborate.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to operational excellence Passion for leading teams through change and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Advanced degrees or professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage
