Job Description
Position: Maintenance/Custodial
Reports to: Howard Thompson
Job Summary: The Distribution Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance/Custodial team member to help maintain the cleanliness and overall upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and sanitary work environment throughout the distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain general cleanliness across all areas of the distribution center.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, hallways, warehouse floors, and the cafeteria.
- Collect and dispose of garbage regularly.
- Follow safety protocols while working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Perform other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Capable of multitasking and remaining physically active throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks, including continuous bending and stooping.
