MCCPS is seeking a dynamic and passionate Grade 4 Humanities Teacher to teach English Language Arts and Global Studies. This educator will be part of a supportive 4th-grade team and work closely with colleagues across disciplines to deliver a rich, engaging, and integrated curriculum rooted in authentic project-based learning and aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.Key Responsibilities: * Design and implement integrated units that combine ELA and Global Studies content in engaging and meaningful ways.* Foster a classroom environment that emphasizes reading, writing, critical thinking, collaboration, and student voice.* Utilize diverse instructional strategies to support learners of all backgrounds and abilities.* Collaborate with grade-level and interdisciplinary teams to plan and deliver high-quality instruction and authentic assessments.* Participate in school-wide community events, service learning, and enrichment activities.* Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom happenings.* Contribute to the culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and shared leadership at MCCPS.About MCCPS: Marblehead Community Charter Public School (MCCPS) is a vibrant, academically rigorous, and community-focused public charter school serving students in grades 48.
