Administrative Assistant

Two Maids & A Mop is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work in our Birmingham, AL office. This Administrative Assistant will provide support to our Corporate Legal Department and the department managers.

Position Responsibilities

• Handles telephone inquiries of moderate technical nature to assist callers using the claim system.
• Inputs data and requests into the claim system and matter management platforms utilized by Claims and Legal departments.
• Directs highly technical, non-routine calls to adjusters or manager.
• Provides copy of claims files to the Counsel.
• Provides clerical support for the office and assists Manager in various administrative duties related to objective results and office performance.
• Opens, sorts, identifies appropriate claim/adjuster and forwards mail in a timely manner. Prepares outgoing mail and ensures timely mailing. (copy work and faxes)
• Assists and contributes to the completion of projects.
• Sets up and maintains logs and reports as assigned.
• Assists the Legal Department with clerical support.
• Performs all other duties as required.
• Must have regular predictable attendance.
  

• Must be familiar with operation of general office equipment, and Windows-based computers and software.
• Must exhibit and use good verbal and written communication skills.
• 2 years experience in a similar job which included customer service.
• Experience and skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, PowerPoint, and Teams preferred.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail required.
