  • The point of initial contact into the Health Center.
  • Handles incoming calls from patients and the public, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls to patients and provides accurate information.
  • Exchanges pertinent and non-routine information, answers questions and offers guidance, either face to face, through written correspondence or via the telephone with individuals on a continual basis.
  • Additionally, the Call Center Representative schedules appointments, maintains documentation and records, facilitates the smooth running of the front office, and supports the delivery of quality patient care.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills using correct English grammar

  • Must have a basic understanding of medical terminology
  • Able to work in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Must possess a clear and professional voice for calls and announcements
  • Must be detail oriented and self-directed
  • Must possess problem-solving skills
  • Provides clerical support and administrative assistance as directed
  • Demonstrates competency in mailings, sorting of mail, filing, faxing and other duties to support administrative office needs
  • At the direction of a provider or nurse assists with prior authorizations for prescriptions and imaging studies as needed
  • At the direction of a provider, nurse or supervisor assists with patient reminder letters for services due
  • Assists with scheduling of medical specialty appointments as directed
  • Effectively communicates with patients, co-workers on medical team, in medical department and across departments
  • Demonstrates competency in the EMR such as Nextech, scheduling software and Microsoft Outlook
  • Experience with Five9 would be preferred
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of company, policies, and procedures
  • Familiar with emergency codes
  • Performs related duties as required


· High school graduate or its equivalency.

· Experience in medical front office procedures preferred and knowledge of medical terminology.

· Ability to always demonstrate the highest level of performance and behavior standards.

· Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle dissatisfied patients effectively and respectfully.

· Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and flexible.

· Knowledge of standard office machines including copier, fax, multi‐line telephone, printers, etc.

· Ability to be a team player; support and assist team members.

Monday to Friday ( in office)

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

9:30 AM- 6:00 PM

10:00 AM- 6:30 PM

You must be able to work remotely on Saturday or Sunday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

There may be an occasional time where you would need to work 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM remotely on a weekend for business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
