Job Description

Lockheed Martin Enterprise Information Technology (Enterprise IT) Corporate Information Security (CIS) is seeking an experienced Information Assurance / Security Engineer who also has experience with software development, automation, and cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work with individuals from a variety of technical and functional disciplines to provide guidance on cloud-based solutions that meet overall business needs while also embedding necessary security controls from end-to-end.

Duties of this position will include:
- Automating security solutions using tools standard in the containerization/Hybrid Cloud / DevOps industry.
- Engaging for Containerization/Hybrid Cloud development, deployment, or migration projects to ensure end-to-end security of business solutions.
-Requirements gathering and specification, development of architecture diagrams, and integration with additional tools (ServiceNow)
- Designing and validating security standards, policies, and solutions that align with the dynamic and agile nature of Platform/Containerization environments.
- Documenting and communicating the security standards, policies, and solutions to allow for quicker and easier adoption.
- Performing security evaluations of Containerization technologies to understand the capabilities of the services and hence the security controls that may be required and/or recommended for secure use of the service.
- Developing governance models for container-based solutions.

A development background, familiarity with container-based security tools, automation, DevOps, and full stack engineering. Effective verbal and written communication skills and management of priorities and deliverables plus the ability to work within a team environment are expected. Heavy collaboration and consulting with numerous business area/business unit representatives, adherence to the highest standards of ethics and professional conduct in addition to the ability to work flexible hours are expected.

LOCATION: Work location can be at any major US LM facility.

Desired skills

- Experience with Containerization technology such as: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- Full Stack Engineer who is comfortable working with a variety of languages and architectures.
- Understanding of the SANS Top 25 Most Dangerous Software Errors and their countermeasures
- Experience utilizing and developing continuous integration/continuous Pipelines
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban environment
- Requirements gathering, developing technical specification and architecture diagrams.
- ServiceNow integration experience
- Certification credentials (Docker Certificated Associated, OpenShift Administration, Pivotal Developer, AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or CISSP)
- Information Security related background
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to HIPAA, PCI and Privacy
- Knowledge of LM Corporate security policies.
