Summary

Responsible for assisting with the input of data, filing of employee records and assisting with other HR team projects as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • New employee registration.
  • Preparing new employee files.
  • Maintaining current HR files.
  • Ensure all employee records are filed properly and information in Ag Worker and Famous is accurate; including I9, W4, social security cards and other documents.
  • Preforming current file audits to ensure that all required documentation is collected and accurate.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Assist remote locations with determining worker eligibility by understanding the documents that are required.
  • Input accurate data of employee information into Famous and Ag Worker.
  • Responsible every month to let all locations and departments know who will need to update their employees I9 information and keep a tracking system up to date.
  • Ensure accuracy of all employment paperwork and compliance with State and Federal laws including the W-4, the I-9, social security cards and other documents
  • Assist remote locations with determining worker eligibility by understanding the documents that are required.
  • Input accurate data of employee information for employees into Famous and Ag Worker for assigned companies.
  • Responsible for all employee files, paperwork in employee files and information is accurate in the Ag Worker and Famous system for assigned companies.
  • Responsible for filing all employee I9 forms.
  • Update Ag Worker, turnstile sheet and log in time card access. as needed with new employee information and changes
  • Translates as needed in employee communication.
  • Responsible for employment verification for assigned companies.
  • Responsible every month to let all locations and departments know who will need to update their employees I9 information.
  • Responsible for logging and distributing incoming mail for the Human Resources department.
  • Must be able occasionally work overtime as needed (including weekends) to meet necessary deadlines.
  • Assist in projects and support the HR Registration team as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • One to two years of experience in Human Resources
  • Must have proficient computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment including copier, fax machine, telephone, calculator, computer and postage machine.
  • Bi-lingual language skills (English/Spanish and/or Creole) required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
