BroadPath is hiring experienced Health Plan Member Service Representatives to work from home! Health Plan Member Service Representatives will be responsible for navigating Health Plan members through the Health Insurance landscape through excellent service. As a work from home associate, BroadPath will provide you with a Laptop, 4 Port USB Hub, Bhive Web Camera, and USB Headset. Responsibilities Full-Time Seasonal Member/Provider Service Representatives will receive inbound calls from Health Plan Members with inquiries which may include benefit and eligibility information, claims and billing, primary care physician assignments, etc. Representatives may also receive calls from Health Plan Providers with questions regarding member eligibility, coverages, benefit types, copays, claims, etc. Representatives will be expected to maintain performance and quality standards based on established call center metrics and benchmarks.

  • Member/Provider Service Representatives will navigate a mix of calls and guide either provider or member with detailed information
  • Demonstrate knowledge, patience and kindness with both members and providers
  • Interact with and provide excellent quality service to members
  • Interact with and provide excellent quality service to Providers
Basic Qualifications
  • Previous Commercial/Under 65 or Medicare Member/Provider Service experience in a call center environment
  • Minimum 1+ Years overall of recent experience - occurring at least partially within the past year
  • High level of patience may need to reiterate information or ask clarifying questions
  • Ability to assist members using non-technical jargon
  • Possess common sense and logical thinking
  • Strong systems aptitude (Member services reps must quickly navigate through multiple systems to handle even simple inquiry calls)
  • Reliable internet with 5 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speed (we provide you with the equipment)
