Department of Administration (DOA)/ Office of Technology (OT)/ General
Administration, Revenue Management, Kanawha County - This position, under
limited supervision, will serve as the lead worker in IT Enterprise Services,
responsible for development, selection, and implementation of information
technology systems and solutions. This is an advanced level technical lead
position and will provide guidance to lower level technical specialists. This
position will serve as lead and the main point of contact to provide IT
business analytics of IT Enterprise Services and solutions involving complex
communication needs, integration involving multiple agencies and platforms for
20,000 end users across 200 different agencies, coordinating and advising
agencies and staff in business needs. This position will serve as a lead and
the main point of contact to communicate both internally and externally
ensuring the WVOT services are being properly leveraged. This position will
serve as the lead person to produce tracking reports for SLA's, training, and
utilization of services using Microsoft Office Products. This person will
create business analytics reporting that will help WVOT make financial
decisions. This position will serve as lead and the main point of contact to
help find and document cost saving opportunities and communicate savings to
management. This position will serve as lead on audit billing, IT procurements
and process as needed. This position will serve as lead and main point of
contact to foster relationships with external and internal partners to create a
positive atmosphere surrounding WVOT. This position will serve as lead and the
main point of contact to work with agencies to gain understanding of its needs
and communicate projects to WVOT senior management for information system
purchases via the CTO process. This position will serve as lead to help build
out roadmap documentation for WVOT to improve internal processes. This position
will serve as lead to research new technology to help identify strategic
procurement opportunities. Performs other duties as assigned. As a condition of

Minimum_Qualifications

Training: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Substitution: Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid personal
computer or server support experience may be substituted for the required
training. Successful completion of twelve credit hours or the equivalent
thereof of industry recognized authorized/certified LAN administration, network
service/support and/or network technologies training may substitute for one
year of the required training.

Experience: Five years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in
information processing field, one year of which is experience in local area
network administration support and/or networking of standalone, mainframe,
minicomputer, and LAN connected microcomputers and two years of which is
experience in installation of hardware and software, support and/or training.

Substitution: Twelve hours of computer science or data processing may
substitute for one year of information processing experience excluding PC and
LAN administration support.
