Operations Recruiter - High Volume / Call Center

Position Summary:
Recruits, researches, interviews, screens, and refers job candidates for the Account Representative position by performing the following duties.

  • Develops recruitment programs to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings; provide input into recruiting budget; develops collateral items, such as brochures and flyers.
  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates; initiates contact with possibly qualified candidates for specific job openings.
  • Reviews applications and conducts telephone interviews of applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position; provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Writes, coordinates and places job advertising in various media.
  • Coordinates participation in, sets up display, and works at job fairs; develops and maintains contacts and makes public presentations at schools, organizations, and job fairs regarding the organization and opportunities.
  • Works with temporary staffing agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
  • Updates Internet online recruiting document and employment telephone line as required.
  • Reviews applications and resumes; performs reference and background checks on applicants; finalizes hiring actions; coordinates with AVP, Training for each training class.
  • Input data into Access and Excel files; maintains and updates files for each class. Prepare, analyze and review information concerning recruiting for Operations.
  • Coordinate, set up and assist with Open House presentations.

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or a minimum of one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting or a temporary staffing agency preferred.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
