  • Operating and monitoring all surveillance security systems/cameras within the Control Center in an efficient manner and in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and best practice.
  • Recording all reported events, incidents and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format.
  • To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations and also to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Director of Operations
  • Providing efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and efficiently handles all inquiries.
  • Liaising with the security agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system and to include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence.
  • Actively communicates and reports pertinent security services information and data in a comprehensive manner
  • Completes necessary logs, reports, and documentation of service requests, incidents, and other required information according to established guidelines
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and informs management of pertinent issues
  • Generates and communicates new ideas and suggestions that improve quality or services within the department
  • Promotes a positive work environment and contributes to a dynamic, team focused work unit that actively assists one another to achieve optimal department results
  • Contacts appropriate management staff for unusual circumstances in a timely manner to maintain a high level of patient safety and satisfaction
  • Retrieves recorded video surveillance for management and proper authorities to review, as directed
  • Adheres to all safety rules and company policies while on duty
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent (Required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Private / commercial security-related experience / background is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills, ability to identify small, mostly unnoticeable details that most people would ordinarily overlook.
  • Familiarity working in environments which require confidentiality and compliance to be met (e.g. HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19 (required)
  • Ability to work independently as well as multitask efficiently
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone and email
  • Strong customer service skills
