Position Purpose:

Develops and implements offering development strategy for the CSMS portfolio

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Defines and implements offerings within CSMS
  • Offerings Strategy: Defines and prioritizes relevant opportunities and develops corresponding offerings with a clearly defined, highly differentiated value proposition. Offerings may leverage integration of existing IQVIA capabilities, development of new capabilities/services/technologies, and/or external partnerships and acquisitions. Completes necessary marketplace/client research and consults extensively with customer-facing roles to inform planning; deeply understands customer needs and competitive landscape, key gaps, and potential for differentiation. Creates and maintains a multi-year offerings roadmap to drive increased visibility, value, and utility of service area offerings. Recognizes impact of developments in industry that may influence IQVIA products, services or trends, and applies knowledge to offering development and business line strategy.
  • Offerings Build: Develops/leads cross functional teams to ensure that offerings meet customer needs, are economically and technically viable, and can be delivered seamlessly. Makes start vs. stop vs. enhance decisions for offerings in development to deliver the maximum value within agreed development timescales and constraints. Secures service model commitment from CSMS and non-CSMS Operations teams including alignment on pricing/revenue sharing when appropriate. When financial investment is required (i.e. acquisitions, partnerships, real estate, technology), develops the business/financial case including estimates of incremental revenue/profit and secures funding approval.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Recommends go-to-market customer segmentation and pricing frameworks. Supports GTM lead as he/she plans, budgets, and develops marketing/thought leadership, collateral development, and sales organization training. Works with Marketing and Go-To-Market leadership to promote solutions across channels.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years’ experience with demonstrated success in marketing strategy, new offering introductions, or consulting services; Master’s degree highly preferred
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry with expertise in one or more CSMS Service Line (Sales, CNE, Patient Engagement, MSL, CNE, FRM, NAM/KAM); familiarity with IQVIA services generally strongly preferred
