Tusculum University is currently seeking applicants for an Accounting Analyst. This position will report to the CFO and is responsible for performing a variety of specialized and complex accounting duties associated with the processing, audit, and analysis of accounting transactions. The ideal candidate will be able to prepare a variety of financial reports including ad-hoc reports needed for operational and strategic decision-making, for analyses of financial data, and for audit inquiries. Will consider the position on a Full-time or Part-time basis.
The position will remain open until filled.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Five (or more) years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Ability to perform standard accounting procedures.
- Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail, computer literacy, excellent customer service, and organizational skills
- Experience in higher education preferred.
