About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a solid foundation in accounting principles, and a desire to grow in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable positions
- Assist with corporate compliance and records management
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Review and enter invoices and expense reports
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team
- Respond to vendor and customer inquiries as needed
- Assist with audits and other financial projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred but not required (internship experience welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Business Central)
- Proficiency in general computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience handling confidential information with integrity
