We are a mid-sized clinic located in the Midwest searching for a responsible and dependable Accounts Assistant t for our Valparaiso, IN office. This is an entry-level, full-time position with office hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5PM. We also offer on the job training, sick/vacation time, health benefits, paid holidays, and 401 K!
Job Responsibilities
- Process and pay vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Manage accounts receivable (AR), including posting payments and following up on outstanding balances.
- Maintain and update accounting records in online QuickBooks.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payments, billing issues, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly reporting, reconciliations, and other routine accounting functions.
- Provide general support to the accounting and finance team as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounts payable and receivable
- Proficiency in online QuickBooks is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Experience in accounts receivables, payables, and financial records, reports, and preparation
- Associate's Degree in related field preferred or 2 years related experience
- Microsoft Suite and QuickBooks experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
