About the Position
A typical day as an Associate Accountant at Swine Vet Center might include the following:
- Assist with expense reporting and mileage reimbursements.
- Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts at month end.
- Assist in preparing the daily financial statement work papers.
- Process accounts receivable.
- Post and process for payment accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with the preparation and calculation of incentive programs.
- Assist with special projects within the office.
- Assist with vet projects, as needed.
- Communicate with vendors on client pricing.
Qualifications
- An associate's degree in accounting (or greater); or related field is required.
- 3 to 5+ years of related experience is required.
- Must be proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), QuickBooks and other various software packages.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills, regardless of interacting with others via phone, email or in-person.
- Maintain the highest standards and possess the relevant skills to handle confidential data.
- Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player through communication, collaboration, active listening, and problem-solving.

- Monday to Friday, 8-4:30 or 8:30-5
