We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the financial operations of our school. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and ensuring smooth fee collection processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of student fee records
- Record and reconcile daily transactions (payments, receipts, petty cash)
- Support the preparation of financial reports and budgets
- Help with monthly payroll processing for school staff
- Maintain vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role (school experience preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Experience in school fee systems and working with school administration
- Familiarity with local tax and compliance regulations
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak admission/fee periods
