We are in search of a Accounts Payable Manager to join our growing Team!
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing the company accounts payable process and function in a professional and knowledgeable manner. This position directs and oversees the daily management of the accounts payable staff and processes associated with the payment of invoices, ensuring the accuracy of the entire process as it relates to vendor payment, processing of purchase orders, receiving, invoices and payment of invoices, and communication with buyers. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to accounts payable.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Oversee routine department activities, such as disbursing checks and processing payroll, to ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
* Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management and government agencies.
* Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors and lenders.
* Communicates all activities to controller.
* Successfully manages all vendor responsibilities.
* Ensures all negotiated contracts are paid as agreed on.
* Manages and completes all projects as assigned.
* Maintains immaculate records.
* Experience with AP systems and 1099 filings a plus.
* Seven or more years in AP function and minimum 3 years in leadership role.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related field preferred. Relevant experience can be substituted for educational requirement.
· Extensive knowledge about accounting and management principles and Accounts Payable procedures.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency with computers, especially business solutions and bookkeeping software.
· Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to analyze information and processes.
· Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies and current financial legislation.
· Must be able to pass drug screen test.
· Must be authorized to legally work in the United States

· Compensation is based on experience and qualifications

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
