Proactively manage the full accounts receivable lifecycle to achieve collection targets and improve cash flow.
Analyze AR aging reports to identify trends, pinpoint root causes of payment delays, and develop strategies for resolution.
Drive the reduction of Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and minimize the percentage of receivables in aged buckets through strategic and persistent collection efforts.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.
Perform detailed customer account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of invoices, credits, and payments.
Prepare and present regular reports on key AR metrics (DSO, AR Aging, Collection Percentage) to management, highlighting performance and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve systemic issues that lead to payment delays or disputes.
Assist in developing and implementing improved accounts receivable procedures and credit policies to enhance efficiency.
What You Bring: A Profile for Success
A proven track record of success in a high-volume accounts receivable or B2C collections role (3-5+ years), with demonstrated achievements in reducing DSO and aged receivables.
Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas) and experience with ERPs and accounting softwares (Quickbooks preferred).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle complex customer accounts and sensitive financial discussions with professionalism.
A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of the collections process.
Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is preferred.
